Certified Financial Planner™

Branch Manager

With the founding of Pinnacle Wealth Partners, Erin Cockman is living out her core values: building relationships, being a lifelong learner and positively impacting her clients through all of life’s transitions.

“I love to get to know my clients … where they are in life, their interests, their families, their goals,” says Erin. As a strategic thinker, Erin helps clients identify upcoming life transitions and effectively navigate the unique financial challenges they may pose.

“By highlighting and focusing on my clients’ life passages, I am able to help them plan ahead and avoid impulsive, reactionary or emotional decision making with their finances,” Erin explains. This highly personalized approach builds trust, confidence and understanding, which in turn has helped Erin develop long-lasting relationships with her clients. Whether it’s helping someone move toward retirement, approach a marriage or divorce, navigate a career change, address aging parents or manage other major life events, each situation presents a challenge and an opportunity to make smart, pragmatic financial decisions.

“During those times, it is critical to make informed financial decisions, some of which are irreversible,” Erin says. “I’m here to partner with my clients, helping them make the best possible choices and enjoy peace of mind.”

Erin grew up in Florida and attended Wake Forest University where she met her future husband, Rob. Who could have known that a pick-up basketball game would lead to marrying the love of her life. They enjoy traveling and have many places on their bucket list. They have four children: two boys and two girls (all of whom play basketball). When she’s not working, Erin enjoys being outdoors, playing sports, visiting art festivals, reading and doing puzzles.
